More Teeth To Privacy Laws
Various Technology companies like AT & T, Google and Microsoft and advocacy groups from various political spectrums are trying to push government to create and strengthen laws to protect digital information from government access. The group wants to ensure that many people who move many of their private documents from filing cabinet and personal computer to web. Their documents should be protected from government authorities. The members plan to lobby Congress for introducing new law for Electronic Communications Privacy Act. Their point of view is that Americans have enjoyed the privacy of their private documents in the past, which should not be diluted as the technology evolves.
